When did Mustangs have t-tops?

Mine's an 88. ;) And it wasn't originally a T top car. They could be ordered at the Dealership. Anyone could pick out a car on site and it could be converted at the dealership. Cars and Concepts offered the kit to the dealers so they could retrofit cars on site. Mine was made a T top car by me. It was originally a hardtop. I had some damage fixed from a previous owner. I attached a pic. There's still some trim pieces and weatherstripping I have to put on, but it is mostly complete.

The black coupe in question above (If it is the one I have seen before) is a march 88 build date. The factory quit making T top cars in October 87. It was most likely done at the dealer. It doesn't make it any less desireable. I'd love to have an 87-88 coupe with t tops.

Mine is an 88, and it's an LX. I have always wondered just how many 88s (LXs and GTs individually) made it out before Ford's supply ran out. Also wonder if anyone knows a good 'cheap' place to get the weatherstripping besides eBay.?

(Have the Harwood hood painted now also..)
