Ever wonder what became of your old car ? I built this 65 in the early 90s ,it had a 6 point roll cage ,full alluminum interior and was set up as a road racer . I sold the car to a friend who later put it up on Barrett Jackson for sale . Steve Davis told me the car sold and was sent to France where it took #2 in its first race ,lost all track after that ,would be nice to see it again .

Sweet ride. I used to hate to see American cars go overseas but I'm over that now. It wasn't that I was being a snob, it just seemed to guarantee that the original owners and builders would never see them again. I hope your little fastback is still out there kicking ass somewhere.

Most cars i have sold stayed pretty much in this area ,or i knew where they went ,lost track of this one ,my old red 65 fast back also done as a shelby ,and my first 69 CJ . I sold my second 69 Mach 1 back in the eightys and lost track of it . A few years ago while at a friends shop i saw a 69 fast back body and told him i would like to bud another 69 ,he told me that if i would sandblast a car for him i could have this one ,had it in my shop the next day .it was covered in several coats of different color primer and while loading it i noticed the corvette flame red paint in the engine compartment .It turns out it was my second Mach and i got it back . Still not finished but some day
