I had the right fender replaced and painted a few years ago. The wierd thing was that the horn and radio wouldn't work when I got the car back. About a week later, the radio and horn worked again but the horn only had its top note working of the three noted chord. Where can I find the horn so I can see if I can fix it?

Well, the horns (2) are in the drivers side fender. The antennae is in the passengers side fender. Don't see how the two could be connected, unless maybe its a fuse possible. The horn thing could be maybe just a bad horn, there are 2 in there maybe that is why ur not hearing the right tone. The radio could be bad connection of the antennae. Still at a lost how the two could be directly connected.

That's what I was affraid of

Thanks! I was affraid it was inside the fender! I honked the horn and it soundel like it was in the driver's fender but I couldn't see it so it was just a guess. I looked in my Chilton's but it didn't show anything about the horn. I'm thinking maybe there's some pain in the connection or something because I also had a front bumper cover put on and painted and they painted the hood. I hope that I can un-plug it and plug it back in and get the two bottom notes. :)

Fixed it!

I found the horns and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. One of the wires was connected to the wrong horn which caused the other wire to not have enough slack to connect to the other horn. I fixed it an now I have the old loud horn again. :flag:
