Just got my Infinity Kappa component set in, noticed it's almost impossible to make the Kappa tweeters fit in the Mach 460 tweeter pod. Wondering where else to mount them or is there a way to make them fit? I've tried making my own adaptors (sort of like what I did to make the 5.25" speakers fit in a 6" X 8" opening). These adaptors for the tweeters work, but the Kappa tweeter then sticks out too far and the tweeter pod cover can't fit on anymore? What should i do? Thanks

I dont know if I would approve of it, but some people just set their tweeters in there, and dont screw them in or anything, but thats probably not the best idea. Hmmm, what a dilema, if you cant get the adapters to work so that you can fit the tweeter on, I suppose you could bust out the dremel, and dremmel out a hole for the tweeter to poke though, then just put new fabric over the speaker cover, like this....

Thats a lot of work though, I am sure someone else can come up with a better solution than mine...good luck.

Actually that's exactlly what I ended up doing. Just need some homemade fabrication to get things right.

I just remoced the mach 1 covers because i found them pretty ugly and they dull the sound of high pitch tweeters anyway.
