Put new stainless prebent brake lines on - had a slight leak at distribution block - when tightening cracked one of the ports. Need to locate "A" in attached. According to monthly mustang these part is for 67 thru 69 drum - since I have a 70 must fit that also. Check all catalogs and can't seem to find one except CJ Pony they said it's been on back order for awhile - Sine I have prebent stainless lines need to get something so that I don't have to mess with lines too much - any suggestions would be appreciated. Dallas Mustang has the attached one but not sure since it has ports on each side.

if you have a 70 (like me) and have drum brakes (like me) then you have a dist block next to the master cylinder. if this was a disk brake car then it's a proportioning valve.
if you are doing a drum to disk conversion (like me) then you need to replace this distribution block with a proportioning valve. the 69's were different than 70's in that they had the distribution block like the 70 drum car does except they also have a proportioning valve in line as well.
also, on that 70 when swapping out the dist block with a proportiong valve to replace the distrubution block you will find the brake lines enter the dist block from the bottom whereas with a 70 car with disk brakes and a proportiong valve, it enters the proportioning valve from the REAR. making a swap in replacement a pain in the butt when doing a pdb conversion.
does that make sense?
since you have your NEW rear lines I'll assume you got the lines that are for the particular application (front disk or front drum)
