Hey everyone doing an automatic to standard conversion on a 1993 gt w airbags and was bolting the steering column back up and started connecting all the plugs behind the steering wheel and can’t find where this plug goes. I’m pretty sure it was plugged in when I was doing the disassemble. Maybe it’s stuck up on the steering column somewhere. Any tips or a picture of where the other end is at/comes from would be great. Also if you guys know what it powers would be awesome to know as well. Thank you guys.

I want to say that is for the cruise control and connects to the brake pedal. It shuts the cruise off when you step on the brake. Look at the top of the pedal cluster. Is there a matching receiving plug?

I know which plug you are talking about. That one is actually plugged in already. It was on the right side of the break pedal. Thank you though.

Keep in mind, the wiring harness is shared with other models, and the 2.3L.

There's a random plug hanging somewhere under the dash for the 2.3L fan controller. Hangs empty on the 5.0 but every now and then i'll see someone make a post asking what it is for.
I was thinking about that also but I could’ve sworn it was plugged in when I took everything apart lol thank you for the response though! I should probably sleep a little more instead of staying up super late to finish this car
