Where is a good place to get misc. bolts?

I have lost a few bolts over the few years messing with this car, and was wondering if anyone had a source for stuff like this:

Bellhousing bolts
Tranny to bellhousing bolts
Tranny mount nuts
Motor mount nuts (unless the energy susp. ones i ordered come with them)
water pump bolts
timing cover bolts

man i need allota bolts

A ford dealership will have all of those. If you want to be cheap, buy one of each and go to an ace hardware to match and get more.

Thats cool, i appreciate it. i work for a dealership, and our parent dealership is a ford/lincoln merc dealer, but that didnt even cross my mind. thanks again man

Dude summit sells every ARP bolt imaginable.

I ordered a set of ARP stainless timing cover/water pump bolts so they will never rust in my block again (had an experience with a broken bolt in the block, yum).

Just call em up and get the regular ARP bolts, trust me you want good bolts

Lowes and Home Depot also carry many sizes in stock, stainless and grade 8 for some of the things you list above. For the speciality bolts I use all ARP stuff from Summit or a Local supplier.

Glad you guys responded, i just got a fax back, and they want almost 140 bucks for this crap. off to summit i call! Thanks again. Oh, and i would go to lowes if i knew what size i needed, but as i said, the dude that helped me take everything apart chunked bolts all over, and im sure alot of them went in the trash

i paid $8 at the dealership for one of the double sided water pump bolts I went to lowes for the others lol. I know www.windsor-fox.com has some of them...

If you make a decent purchase at any auto wrecking yard they will usually throw in the bolts for free. My experience has been very good with getting little stuff like this. And, it can be all factory.

Im trying to remember if i actually need the double sided water pump bolts. I have no a/c, no smog, and i went from efi -> carb, so imma check out a buddys car, see whats all attached to it, and see if i even need the double threaded jobbies

I agree completely .. and OSH is probably your best bet if you live in Ca.

Im in louisiana, But we have lowes, and a fastenal here, so im sure i can find whatever i need. The only problem im having is without the original bolts to compare it to, i dont know what the hell im lookin for. If i remember correctly, the bellhousing to block bolts are like 3/8 - 7/16, and the tranny to bellhousing is some big ole half inchers.

If i ever find the guy that helped me take this apart im shoving a box of 1/2 bolts up his @ss

You’re saying you don't even have the original bolt to compare the thread cut and length to?

bell to block are 7/16" diam, and about 2 1/2" or 3" long, and IIRC, the tranny to bell are the same...can anyone confirm?

the double side bolt is for the A/C and P/S bracket...they suck

i know how ya feel dude...maybe you're right with the 1/2" on the tranny to bell though-I can't remember either...

I remember most of the bolts from the trans to the block only being 1-1/4" to maybe 1-1/2".
I posted the lenght and thread cut just before the crash of 05 so I can't back that up, but the bolts just didn't seem to be 2-1/2" or 3" long from what I remember, but I've been wrong before.

those double sided bolts are for the a/c and p/s bracket like someone said. You don't have A/C, but if you have power steering, you might still need the bracket. I'm not sure how things work w/o a/c.

if you have an A/C delete kit, like the march or trick flow kits, then you can just ditch the double sided bolts and put in some stainless ones. but if you're keeping all your accessories, then you'll need to keep them or get new ones-or a suitable sub at least-they have a bad tendency to corrode and break off in the block when you have to pull them for a water pump change-nearly making you insane...

I'm still trying to remember about how long they really were...but I do remember that the bell to block bolts were fairly long, moreover, two of them were longer than the other four (the two top ones-bell's thicker up there I think)

the tranny to bell bolts though, can't remember clearly, I do remember they took a 15mm socket though, so their probably either 7/16" or dare I say...metric

Where is a good place to get misc. bolts?
