Where is the sending unit for the temp gauge???

I feel like a moron for asking this, but where is the sending unit for the tempature gauge on a '93? I had no trouble installing a set of autometer gauges in my GT, but I can't seem to locate it on my 2.3 engine. I loaned out my haynes manual so I need you guys to point me in the right direction.

It's the sensor on the drivers side that is screwed into the block.

its on the back of the drivers side right by the pcv valve and is a real biotch to get at-good luck.

It's not in the head...it's in the block about 6" below the oil sender (which is in the block as cro mentioned).

Then what is in the lower intake with the little prong for the wire to slip onto it for?

Oops I did say head huh.
SVOconLX85 that sensor is the ECT.
That sensor is the one that talks to the computer.

But there is one in the top part of the lower intake as well as the bottom, and I have the one in the block right below the oil sending unit. Is it maybe something for the fan because the one in the bottom of the lower intake is a yellow wire with a red stripe and that goes to the little box under the dash that I think is for the fan control relay??? Im not sure

LOL yeah I discovered you directed me to the ECT sensor, no biggie I tracked it down.
