Looking to get a factory style negative battery cable because the casing on mine is a bit cracked and dry-rotted. I found this AC Delco one on RockAuto, but cant tell by the crappy pic if its the factory style cable:

More Information for ACDELCO 4BC48X

If anyone has gotten a good factory cable recently, please let me know where you got it.

It wasnt in stock @ the dealer, they would have to order it. And it was about $65 @ the dealer. Just ordered the cable from LRS, cant beat $37. Wonder why CJ's is $20 more, its the same Motorcraft cable.

Thanks for the help guys.

I usually check a couple of different places before I order. Some things are cheaper at one for no apparent reason. Just happens that way I guess.

I just went to autozone and bought one. Comes with a lead to solder to the body ground. Cost me $9 or so and was factory enough for me

One place that doesn't seem to get a lot of mentions around here for some reason is Fox Mustang Restoration :: 1979-93 Mustang Restoration Parts and Supplies. They've got a lot of NOS stuff that others don't seem to have. I've bought quite a bit from them over the years.

Not that it matters now, but they have the same battery cable at the same price as LRS, but you'll pay less in shipping from them.

Thanks a lot, thats a great site. Never heard of it. Definitely putting that in my favorites. Yea, LRS ground shipping was like $15 for just the two battery cables, thats a bit much.

Good idea, thanks for posting. I got a new POS cable from Autozone and could not justify spending $40 for a NEG cable.
