I only have two..One from the intake to the brake booster and the other from the carb to the distributer

In the most simple form, that's pretty much what you need. The rest of that junk is mostly for emissions.

Aaaahh now i see your problem..i had the same myself. All i'm running is a line from the back of my carb to the vacuum tree, and the brake booster line is run into the tree, and then the timing advance vacuum up front that runs from the dist. to the front of the carb. Actually i've got a few more lines that i do need to get rid of...but i need to sort it out because my car came with a lot of confusing BS stuff that had to do with the SSP lights and sirens...not sure what vacuum lines would have to do with that but i had a TON of them that i don't see on regular 302s.

well my carb doesnt have the big port like the new ones, its got just two small ones!

Theres not 1/2 pipe thread hole for a vacuum fitting on that manifold?

where would it be located? like by where you mount the carb?

yeah, look on the back side of the intake behind the carb. there should be a port there

There is no such fitting on a Vic Jr...when you buy one new it actually says that if you require one then you'll have to tap it and make it yourself.

If you can tolerate at slight height increase you can add a 1" spacer that has a port in the back. My carb has the 3/8 port in the back and I run a "T" off it to the brake booster and PVC valve.

The carbed 79's had a ton of vacuum, all of which I still have hooked up.

If I was going from efi, you only need a brake booster, a dist vacuum line from the carb ported vacuum tap, and a c4 modulator line if usiing a c4.

If possible, I would try to keep the charcoal cannister. The originals had a vent line from the carb bowls, and a purge line to the intake, managed by a solenoid for the vent and a temp vac switch for the purge.

There was a temp switch controlled vacuum switch for the dist and for the air cleaner also.

I just change my car over to carb'd from cfi, i had to run the pvc, the line to the dizzy, one to the vac tree and some stuff for the air pump. Here is a link to the vac lines for a 85 "last year of the carbd ford mustang"
