im geting ready to put my 351c back together after rebuild promise to have pics after shes done.. but im stuck on what intake to get for my motor.... she will be pushing about 400 horse and i want it to be a ocassional strip car for fun on friday nights but also a good street car.. so what intake would be good for 4v heads... i was thinking holley strip dominator high rise but i dont think it would fit under my hood of my 73 mach1... so guys give me some ideas need something that will give me some low end but will flow pretty good for the strip...

I guess the airgap would work okay - remember it has the 2V size ports. If you're running 4V heads that's a pretty large discontinuity. Edelbrock seems to want to put really small ports on the Cleveland, probably to limit it to 350 Chivy type of power. ;-)

I would probably pick a Torquer for a 4V application that has to fit under a factory hood... just from reading on the network 54 Cleveland forums and the Corral.

My non-expert 2 cents.

thanks guys for the input i was going to buy a holley dominator but the ones for the 4v are a huge high rise and cost close to 400 bucks...... and the blue thunders are geting up in price as well.. but last night i bought a old eldlebrock torker high rise about 20 years old in great shape off a 351 boss for $125 so i think it was a good deal looks to be better than the new torker

yeah in about three weeks my engine will be fired up cant wait..... i took alot of time trying to figure out how i wanted my engine to look and i think you guys will be pleased with it... i didnt go to much ford blue trying to mix it up a bit
