I recently purchased a Fox and it had these rear brakes installed. I think they are off a turbo coupe, but I'm not sure. The previous owner was not the one that installed them, but he thought they were rear 93' Cobra brakes. Maybe you guys can help. I can't find the casting numbers on them, which is why I'm asking the question.

Thank you in advance.

Definately not 93' Cobra brakes, because those were drums. It has the same caliper as an SN. Turbo coupe sounds right.

Kurt, 93 Cobra had rear disc...same as turbo coupe, at a glance that is what they look like to me.

No, the Cobra R had rear disks. The regular Cobra had drums. Good luck finding a Cobra R rear axle. It's highly unlikely that you would find a Cobra R axle parted from the car.

well, thanks guys. I'm going to take it apart and see if there are any casting numbers I'm missing under the surface rust. But if the cobra and turbo coupe have the same brakes it shouldn't really matter, unless I sell it to get the 5 lug.

Ok, I was wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, probably won't be the last.
