Which Cam to use...

I have a 92 5.0 LX with the following performance mods:

K&N Air Filter
Edelbrock Performer Intake
BBK 70mm Throttle Body and EGR Spacer
CAL MAF
Underdrive pullies
MAC Shorty headers
Summit Off road X pipe
Pypes Violator 2 1/2in Cat back Exhaust
3.55 Gears

GT40 heads are in the near future.... but right now im goin for a new cam

Which cam should i go with?

A very small one, your E7s will commit suicide, as would the GT40s without different springs, unless your just looking for the sound, a cam won't be doing you any good

You'd be better off getting a cam towards the end, because once you've got heads and a few more mods, you'll obviously need a more aggressive cam, and no one wants to buy stuff twice

i've used 1.7 rr and comp 35-324-8 cam with e7 heads and it worked good!

You can run FRPP "E" Cam with your stock heads. But check out some other heads before you stick a cam in right now. Thats if you have the extra cash for some good heads. If the heads you are referring to are the GT-40P heads, I wouldn't waste my time.
If they are the GT-40X heads, then I would do it.

None. Don't waste time and money on a cam as long as you still have stock heads. Save your money for heads first, then do the cam.
