UPDATE: Ordered VT Stage 1's - being in Canada sold me on'em

Long story short: my PI headswap has turned into a circus thanks to UPS damaging my PI headswap kit from Parkway, and troubles dropping the k-member.. so basically Steeda.ca will be doing my headswap for me.

In order to ease my pain, I'm also adding Maximum Motorsports CC's and bumpsteer, and Steeda X2 ball joints to the package.

So..

Now I'm thinking that since this will be the 1st (and last) time the heads are off of my car, why not get a nice street cam too??

My preference, based on my research and availability, is for Comp Cams XE262AH (Part no. 102500), but i hear a lot about VT Stage 1's...

My goal(s):
- remain N/A
- hit 300rwhp
- noticeable idle that makes ppl look over (even more so than now, lol)

My current mods are in my sig. I think eventually I'll go with a XCal2 and tune from steeda, and this will definitely put me at the 300 marker. I'd like to get a nice idle out of the cams which I can hear (my car idles smooth now, and sounds bada$$ with the prochamber, LT's and exhaust).

Any differing opinions?

I think I'm going to have to purchase from SHM, as no ebay sellers ship to Canada, and the other canadian suppliers are $700+ CDN. Here's the link:

VT Stage 2's :D

I know you're biased as they're on your car :D do you have any sound clips of them? My car is a weekend warrior / summer only / no rain vehicle. I don't do any track or 1/4, mostly just cruising.

I would need new springs w/ Stage 2's, or anything from Comp beyond 262AH's. Not sure if i want to keep dropping more $$ on the ride in that area...

Thanks

good choice, your gonna be amazed after the heads/intake and vt st1's go in...thats atleast 60-70 rwhp you'll be adding.

F yeah :nice: Thx for your help - I know this isn't the 1st time you've posted while I've been going through this install... hopefully she'll be up and running by the end of May.
