Which clutch?

My buddies clutch just went in his 02 GT and hes looking at getting the CF dual friction clutch, hes about to order it (long story short he JUST bought this car had it for 2 days and the clutch shatterd ) and basicly ford told him to **** himself, it was used, only 17 thousand miles on the thing and they said new cluth would run out the door 1200 and that they would eat 500 of it wheich is still BS so were getting the car back from ford today andf just going to do it our selves.....but which one should we order... the 10 spline or the 26 spline???
