I can't remember if the 99 has a 5 or 6 speed......

5 speed, 3.90's....

6 speed, 4.10's....

Thats my suggestions. Both would deliver just fine MPG's, and allow you to get the most out of the car at the track....

But beware of breaking half-shafts

Well, thats why I suggested the 3.90's....

FRPP doesn't offer a 3.90 ring and pinion, but they are out there, I believe Motive offers one. It is a nice compromise for those who can't decide between 3.73 and 4.10 IMHO.....

But just FYI, the 4.10's should be just fine. I run 4.30's in my auto, and can still pull 20 MPG, so you should be able to get 20+ w/ 4.10's....

And I'm assuming that if you're looking at a power adder of any sort, you're looking to get the most outta your car that you can. Therefore, a 4.10 should be just perfect for you as far as I'm concerned.

first question. how much power are you wanting to make? when you start using a power adder traction becomes a problem w/o some suspension upgrades... 4.10's wouldnt help that.... the most popular choice would be 3.73's when using a power adder of any sort.... i was going to be one of the few to use 4.10's w/ a KB supercharger.... but decided that i now want to stay N/A..... and try to get a 12 sec slip....
