Whats best route to persue after this:

95GT/vert AOD>5-speed + adding supercharger = ___________ computer.(TKO II/vortech s-trim)

a) 94-95 5-speed ECU
b) 9AL ECU
c) Why put stock computer back in!
d) (your answer)

How would the settings be with a 5-speed ECU after install?
First time firing it up after install what to expect?

Which way is the best way in your opinion?

Lots of optoins to choose from.... put a 95 speed computer in it then add either custom chip, PMS, tweecer...etc. Or do the proflo wireharness adapter so you can run the fox body computer A9L. There are a ton of solutions out there. Im running the stock 5 speed computer.. mine was orignally an AOD also. I then had an autologic chip burned wich upped me 19+ rwhp for a total of 373rwhp n/a 331. Ive used the PMS on my fox body in the past and loved it. If price wasnt a concern id use the PMS over a custom chip. Good luck.

you can still use the auto computer if you swap to five speed, theres a neutral switch that you have to leave on all the time tho. the only advantage to an auto tranny vs a 5speed is that the 5 speed takes away timing between shifts

I was gonna try to use my auto computer but my local shop "Houston Performance" advised me to switch to a 5 speed computer. They said the auto computer would act funny and pick up wierd hisitation problem. This was something im assuming they ran into in the past. I never did try to see if it would work...just threw in the 5 speed computer and had the autologic chip done.

PMS info - http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/

Tweecer info - http://www.tweecer.com/

The PMS is easier to use but the tweecer has more adjustability. You will need a laptop to use with the tweecer and the PMS comes with a hand held controller wich they just revised this year I believe. The PMS has been around for a fairly long time now and I have a few friends with it and it works great.
