Which emblem do you guys like for that bare front/side quarter panel on the V6? Of course, the GT has "GT" there, and Shelby, Rousch, and Saleen have their own incarnations, but there are various aftermarket ones you can get to stick on there for the V6, like 4.0 and 245. Have any of you done this? Pics? Or, should I just leave "well enough alone" and leave it bare?

Leave it alone. The stealth look, I think, is best. Too many people "overdo" their cars. I have also been guilty of that and am trying hard to resist that urge now to my car. You can very quickly stick on way too much stuff.

I think you're probably right. Look at the "clean look" of the new Bullitt Coupe: it appears that Ford was able to practice a lot of self-restraint re: badges, stripes, etc., there...

Do you have anything on there, steedman07? If so, what is it?

I would go with the Pony Emblem. I have a GT, but once I added the "GT350" side stripe, I felt that the GT was too repetitive. So I ditched the GT for the Pony Emblem.

Oh, too add to this thread in a constructive manner, I would go with the running pony.. it's the classic mustang emblem.

Yes you have a V6, just don't advertise it.. Or add emblems that make it seem like it has more power..

I was wondering the same thing. I had the GT logo with the Saleen "SUPERCHARGED" badge underneath but have since removed it. I was thinking about the pony on the fenders instead...

I like the pony emblem like ApexStang has. I've been considering getting them, but every time I decide I'd rather spend money on performance if I'm going to spend it on my car.

I went for almost two years with none before I put the ponies on, after a while it does seem empty.

I'm referring to the Shelby emblems that I have on the fender. It's funny because everyone gets on my case for running a V6 with the Shelby fender embelms.

But I love the look of the snakes.

I really like the Cobra snake but that would be doing too much. I also ditched the GT badge and went with the pony emblem. I like it so much I changed the one in the rear as well. Now people think it's not a GT but a V6.

Here are some idea I have been throwing around.

I am still trying to decide if it would look good to have a "281" emblem on the front fender like the old "289"s, and also have a blackout panle between the front windows and rear quarter windows.

The "Powered by Ford" emblem is also a good one.

I also ditched the "GT" in favor of the running horse emblems since I have the GT/A badges below(same boat apex is in).

Pysko, that may look good if the badge is short enough. The blackouts could work if your windows are tinted dark enough. Otherwise
