which fluid for G-force/A-5 transmission

i have an astro performance (A-5) t-5 and they say to use 2 quarts of synergen syngear II ATF and 1/2 quart of mobil 1 atf.

well nobody around here sells the synergen snygear II, and i bought this trans used. my question is...is it really nesescary to use that stuff? cuz i would have to order it and wait till this weekend to use it.

what do you guys use?

i personally dont see where there is a difference. but thats totally just an opinion.

Yes it has to be that stuff or something of similar thickness. I talked to the guy on the phone about it when I bought mine and he said regular ATF is too thin. I don't know if there's something similar that you can buy anywhere. I would call them and ask.
