Which Fluid is the BEST for the T5

it is all personal preference. i did a lot of searching a few weeks ago and did not learn a lot. i could not find objective data, just opinions.

so ill toss out my two cents. i run Redline D4. in addition to my gut (i was running redline and considered switching), Adam had some compelling thoughts about it being good stuff to run.

good luck.

This may sound like a Ford "sin", but I have heard GM Syncromesh is good to use in the T-5. I use it in my 3650 and feel it has helped its notchy shifting a lot.

thats what i have in my tko, you can actually buy a pennzoil equivelent called just plain synchromesh.

I just run ATF fluid like suggested from the factory in my T-5...the quik-lube guys didn't believe me until they looked it up in their books that ATF is needed for my car...

ive heard good things about the gm syncromesh b4 owning my ford, lot of honda guys started using it when i was back into the scene....heh and i dont see anything wrong with putting GM syncromesh in a T5, its not like Ford made they trans......same trans can be found in plenty of GM's so i dont see the problem. Ill probably be going with this unless someone here can show me somthing better i should use

Redline ATF D4. It's made for T-5's.
