I have 97 Mustang GT Convertible. Im buying a 94-98 Saleen OEM rear bumper to go with my 94-98 Roush Side skirts with no cut outs. I got them to be different and really like the look. I was thinking between 2000 Cobra R front bumper and I would cut off the lip and sand it all in to make it seem more like a 99,01 cobra front with a little lip but no snow plow. Might go 94-98 cobra front with abc lip.Wont do a 03-04 cobra front I hate the look of them! I beliee I will go with a steeda spoiler. And thinking about 03-04 cobra hood... Any suggestions?

I'm not big on the bumper, personally. It looks like a cross between a New Age and our body. I unlocked the thread, so you could get more opinions from people with the same body style, as I was possibly a little quick on locking this thread, since you have a sister thread in 4.6 Talk. I apologize for that, and we can keep this one open to get some opinions going here as well. :SNSign:

I agree with the 94-98 saleen front being too high is side exhaust skirts are used. The saleen front bumper and side skirts are the only ones on the market that don't appear to be made any lower than the stock pieces. Everything else I've seen are made so that they extend to the ground just a little more than stock. I think the '99-up aftermarket ones extend down more than the '94-98 fronts do, but from the front they look weird to me, almost like the sides are tucked in too much.

The '00 cobra R bumper will match the side exhaust style skirts better than anything else I've seen.
