which heads?

185 afr's too big for 302 unless force injected or really healthy cam, carb intake combo is used.

I'd go with stud for adjustabilty

or pedestal for easyness.

cc's depends on what kind of compression you plan on running. You need to match it up to your pistons and gasket tickness. 58cc's would yield higher compression than 64 cc's.

Hope this answers your question.

higher the cc the lower your compresion will be. higher compression=loss in hp. go with the 58's!

afr 165's are great for a mild street car and 185's are good for high rpm hp.

stud mount are adjustable and pedestal yu just tighten down.... hard to explain....wait for another reply.

have a holley 750, and airgap intake, but im still shopping around for a cam i just dont know which.... any of them might fit then? its just that the car is not finished and theres a supercharger in the future for it, havent dyno'd it and im still looking for a forged 347 kit, and plan on getting the compression around 8 or 9 i just wanna have much high of compression so i should go with 64cc's then? (lower compression?)

Man you need to make up your mind on what you want. Then buy. Don't be like me and be stuck with a bunch of performance parts.

185's and that stuff you have for a 302 just doesn't seem good. Carb is ok needs a single plane manifold i.e. vic jr. Cam nice and healthy. lots of duration and lift.

You need lower compression for a supercharger. with a 347 NA the 185's will be great but the 205's will be better if going blown.

I'd suggest vic jr's for your set up. I was going to get them with my chp 347 and the engine was only a few miles away when I said I didn't want it anymore.

going cobra dohc myself.

Nice ET though :nice:

LOL, yea, that’s accurate. The last time I was at the track I spun the tires all the way down the track. Let me tell you it is a weird feeling going down the track at over a 100 mph and the tires are spinning.

On the next run my buddy spun them so hard in between gear shifts that he lost control and crossed over into the other lane!

Needless to say my car is getting a traction upgrade with a set of Cal-Tracs or Comp Engineering Slide-a-links. I just want to transfer the power and get the ET’s to match the MPH.
