which heads

I am in the process of building a 347 stroker for my mustang and I am stuck on which heads to get. I am thinking about ordering the trick flow heads but i hear they suck cuz the threads are drilled directly into the heads and there are not metal inserts. I am wondering if there are any heads that are comparable to the performance and price of the trick flow twisted wedge 66 ccs. Plz respond soon bec i need to order asap. thank you guys

I think its hard to beat the Edelbrock Vic Jrs. for the money.

go with afr 185s. you will not be disappointed. i ran a 8.20 in the 8th with a full weight 90 gt. 306 with 3.27 gears no traction and no 2nd gear. i love these heads

what treads are you talking about?

The AFR 185 heads, definitely!! I only have the 165's because I'm still only a 302.

any one use twisted edge 180 port head or trick flow r series 206 port heads. also what type of cam should i use wiht 1.6 rocker arms. thanks
