Which heater hose feeds the heater core?

I am not quite done with my A/C so in the meantime, I want to put a manual cut-off valve in the heater core feed to keep some heat out of the car. I'm assuming it's NOT the line that screws into/dumps into the front of the upper intake, but I wanted to double check. thanks

It's the one that has the coolant temp sensor in it.

It's the inlet side.
Botom hose on heat tube and drivers side at heater core.

Putting a shut off may stop flow, but heat will still transfer and the core will still get just as hot.

If you want to keep heat out, just disconnect both hoses and connect them together using a heater core bypass kit
