Anyone know where Foose got this scoop? I need some hood clearance on my Mach 1 for the air cleaner, so I was thinking of ditching the stock fake Mach 1 scoop with the blinkers and going with something like this. I have seen the repro Boss 429 scoops and they just look too big IMHO.

The 69 and 70 Cougars Eliminators had a hood scoop that looks just like that!

It seems like I remember them using a '79 Mustang hood-scoop on that car. That show was a few months ago, but I'm pretty sure that's where it came from. They even did another '69 or '70 Mustang on a later show and mentioned the scoop again.

Maier fiberglass hood duplicates it

look at their 69-70 Cougar Eliminator style hood. The last Mustang Monthly (I think) did a write-up on installing it.

It was definately a shaved boss scoop.

The Cougar one is close but it's much wider in the rear closer to the cowl.
