Which intake is the best from a performance/reliability perspective for a street, summer commuter, stock motor with gt40P heads and an alphabet 303 cam to be added in the near future? The choices are tubular gt40, 86-93 cobra, gt40/explorer or edelbrock performer 5.0. I want the power of the vehicle to stay within idle to 5500-6000 and not lose any torque and gain some in the bottom end. The gears in my car are stock (I assume). All other mods (minor) should be in my sig. Lets hypothecically put price aside because all the mentioned intakes can be found used for reasonable prices. 280 to 300 rwhp is enough for me. (I also want to keep the car smog legal)

Thanks

i've got the gt-40x heads and a f-cam.i've run the typhoon intake(only about $300 from most places) and it runs great.i also ran the same intake with a B-cam and it also runs great.some may say that it's a chinesse knock off but for the extra $250 for the rpm intake it's not going to run any better and i've had mine for almost 4 years and it's fine.
