My torque converter started shuddering when changing gear. I changed the tranny fluid and the shuddering ended. Now after 3k miles im experiencing that shudder again. I think i have to buy a new torque converter. So which torque converter and what other parts should i get for my 94Gt to make it better.
The car is mainly stock, but i want more of that power and torque to the rear wheels. Should i install a Valve Body Recalibration Kit/ Pressure Regulator Valve/
Bypass Clutch Control Valve/ Pressure Regulator Boost Valve Kit or what?
Please help me with this..

Thanks,
Those tccoa articles helped a lot to decide. I think i`m going to get a transgo/edgeracing combination.

Can't beat that combination! That's exactly what I was going to suggest.

Edge Racing makes a real top notch product. You'll love the new power at your real wheels.

I went through a few cheap stalls and tossed a lot of money and time out the window. I really like my edge converter.

I went with the Edge too after Paul here recommended it. I'm surprised you didnt post up your before and after video that you do in every torque converter thread.

Transgo is pretty much the "standard" for shift kits...Price differences are negligible.

I was going to ask which place is cheapest. I really need those parts, because my friend has a BMW 535 and he wants to try if his car is quicker. There`s only 210hp in the car but its manual. I`m a bit worried.

I suggest you do the Jmod like the TCCOA artcal says - it is free, and proven to work best!

As for your shudder - I assume you only have this in 3rd/4th. What fluid are you using? Mercon? Also, like the TCCOA artical says, MERCON 5 (V) was desinged for the AODE/4R and it stops shudder when used. I have stopped shudder for COUNTLESS people by just servicing the trans with merconV becuase they didn't know this simple fact

Oh, and edge and precision Industries are my choices for converters.
