Get this one from RPC. It costs about half as much and it is chromed aluminum. You should be able to get it from your local speed shop.

I'm just going to be running an alternator on the passenger side, stock water pump, and a/c and p/s pump on the driver side.

Not sure what you mean by what cover? Stock '74 timing cover I believe. What's the differences in them? I can take a pic later if it helps.

thanks

U can run stock 5.0 front cover and alt bracket with east. buy the 351 swap pwer steering and a/c bracket. Spend a bit of time doing the spacing to make sure it all lines up and go one. Looks much better than the 74 stuff imho.

I already have the p/s and a/c swap bracket so I'm using that since I'll be using both but the stock alternator bracket is hidious plus I'm not using a smog pump so I want to clean up some unwanted junk.

and go one?

and you're saying to use a 5.0 timing cover not the 74' 351 front timing cover right? I'll also be using a 5.0 style water pump

So by using these which one would I need? the 30050 or 30055? What's the difference?
