i have two master cylinders. one was given to me before that i somehow forgot about, and i just bought one. i have 4-wheel disc, and a stock MC as far as i know.

i have a 1" bore mc, and a 1 1/16" bore mc. based on my stock mc/booster, which would be more useful for me? i just bought the 1" bore, and it is sort of a weird design.

it just has a bar that snaps over the top and a removable lid. you just fill the reservoir's and have no sight of them, versus the stock style with the reservoir and cap. so im debating which i should install.

now my brakes dont even engage until the pedal is halfway compressed or more. there is really no variances in my braking, its pretty much all or nothing. example is at halfway compressed they engage solid, and there is no difference from that point to fully compressed. only other issue is sometimes i cant compress the pedal at all once the car is shut off. that combined with no e-brake is not a good combo on hills, or if they car ever died in a hill, ect.

sorry to be drawn out, what mc sounds best suited for me? thanks

I am running 73 MM calipers up front, TC disks at the rear with a 94 Mustang MC. I have the stock booster & have excellent pedal feel and pedal travel.

i am going by the bore size here for comparison. do you know the 94gt bore offhand?

also, about the mc without the visible reservoir, is that anything out of the ordinary? i have never seen it before. ive never really lost brake fluid so its not that big of a deal i guess, just not the best design ive seen  i can post a pic of it, if that would help the description.
