which melling oil pump 2V or 4V?

which melling oil pump should i use for my 2V build? i was told to get the Melling Oil Pump for the 4V cuzz its basically same pump but the 4V has increased volume and should be used in any performance application.

when I built my 2v I went to ford and got the 03/04 cobra oil pump and pickup tube , pickup tube has a larger diameter and larger opening

I'm a fan of the Melling 10227, I sell it, and I know MMR (Modular Mustang Racing) likes them on their rides.

It's the 4v pump, which requires a 15/16 pickup tube, but does a good job on my MMR 900 4v and my buddy's MMR 650 2v.
