Looking for a new oil pan.
Dont want to spend too much.
I plan on racing my car on the street/drag/track.
All suggestions welcome.

First you want to look for a design that fits the stock K-frame.

Then you want to look for a deep(er) style pan.

If it were me, I'd run a 7 qt. pan from Canton or Moroso. The whole idea of a deep pan is to reduce windage.

A reduction in windage = more horsepower.

it was $239 i think or around there , it fits both the stock and the my d-and -d k member i had it on before i put the k-member on .all in all i'm happy with it i am even running their dipstick whick doesn't blow out like my stock one did .

I use the 7qt DSS pan....low profile, internally baffled, and is threaded for a supercharger drain already (comes with screw in plug so if you don't have a blower you can still use it).
