I'm lookin around for a set of rear control arms for my coupe. I was gonna pick up a set of the MAC solid uppers and lowers but it seems like they're sold out everywhere and no place has any idea if and when they'll get them in stock again. Im just looking for something non adjustable thats not a real cheap piece. Any suggestions? thanks

Yeah nothing can beat the components sold through maximum motorsports however if you want something cheap and non adjustable look into Factory Five Racing. They build some of the most badass kit cars around and they make some suspension components for stangs, you can pick their arms up for like 150, good engineering

I highly recommend Max M as well. I don't have their Control arms, but have worked with them for my panhard rod. Very good company:nice:

I have Factory Five control arms, but I am not sure they are still in business. It used to be $199 for both the uppers and the lowers.

Something you need to pay attention to more than anything else when picking control arms, some come with overly-aggressive bushings that can do some real damage to a stock setup. Try to read up on what else you need to do when you get into the more aggressive materials. One thing for sure, stay away from solids unless it is a spherical bearing type of bushing.

I have MM lowers and the Steeda HD uppers (basically stock FR, boxed, and with all-new bushings = $100), and they both work rather well. Also thumbs up to maximum motorsports, I have a few of their products and they are top notch, you get what you pay for.

Which is more important to get first...uppers or lowers. I was also going to get a set this spring and i saw that GMS set on ebay for like 150 for uppers a lowers. They look decent but the price is real cheap. I would rather spend more money on just upper or lowers, but get a good product u kno. So are the lowers more important because they hold the spring? any help would be appreciated. thanx
