Which reducers??

Ok so I just bought some used LT headers with the 3 bolt flange and Right now i have an o/r h-pipe and I want to cut it and add Reducers to it. The midpipe is a 2.5 inch one so which reducers do I get so they can slide inside the midpipe so I can clamp them tight?

would these work?

actually these? they are a lot cheaper and have gasket.

If you have 2.5 ID pipe, I would think you would want a reducer that is 2.5 OD on the outlet side. that way the OD of the reducer would fit inside the ID of your pipes. if the reducer had an OD of 2.25 or less, I would think it would be sloppy loose. I'm no expert though. I would get the reducer welded to the pipe once you get it clamped in place. Mine leaked when I just had clamps.

If you want them to be slip fit so you can use clamps, you need to have an exhaust shop expand the ends of your midpipe so the 2.5" reducers will fit. 2.25" reducers are too small. Personally, I'd just have them welded on.

yeah I do want them welded I just want something temporary until I have the time to take it in. I dont think straight lt's would be liked around here too much considering my dumps on stock manifolds is loud haha.
