TTT off topic but lately the reply's have been dead, the last 4 threads ive done have gotten no reply except 1 (thank you 5spd gt)

No Problem...Yeah I have noticed that to about the last week...there is just no replies...almost boring

Go 24's for sure... :nice:

Iv noticed that I havnt been replying much lately due to the overwhelming amount of repetative questions that require no thought for an answer.. The amount of actual knowledge on this board is :notnice: . Its seem every question is either " Guess my HP?" or " How does this combo look?"..."What size injectors?". It gets really old after a while, so im guessing thats why responses have been down. Any input?

Yeah the ppl. that actually know anything on here anymore don't post that often ......

Possibly so i find myself at other forums alot more then this one anymore. But that's not from the forum format :nonono:

I was just joking about the format.
Perhaps one reason people don't post as much is because the climate of the forum has certainly turned much less friendly.

One example is a while back someone posted asking how to remove his air silencer. Simple yes...as long as you know how. Someone responded back saying that if he didn't know how then he shouldn't own a Mustang!

But, then again, I am certainly no expert.

That's exactly what I mean.
Your last post seems needlessly rude!

I don't know if you intended it that way, I don't actually care, but I wonder why you bother coming posting on the forum if it is so bad for you.

You need not bother to answer. This is my last post on the topic.

what sqirters should i run w/ performer 5.0 head performer rpm intake & e cam? o yeah & what power range could i see w/ the right accesories? i.e. tb maf ect...

Anyhoo..I think your question deserves an answer. It depends on how much work you are planning to do with your motor in the end....

A 19LB injector can handle up to about 300HP in theory. But nobody would/should run a 300HP engine with 19LB injectors since the injectors would have to operate at peak continuously and probably give out. Especially since the fuel pressure is not adjustable (yet) ;)

So you want an injector that only has to run at about 80% of its capacity. That's how I came up with my 24# recommendation. (Hey, it's good enough for the 93Cobra too!)

By also getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you can tune it down so that it doesn't run so rich (for streetability and idle) but also increase it as needed as more improvements are made.

Those are my thoughts, btw how do you like that combo? I have always been fond of Edelbrock.

Regards! :flag:

Your right it was needlessly rude, glad you said something i'll so much nicer to ppl. now . Obviously you do care if it was meant in a rude manner or not, if it didn't bother you, you wouldn't have said nothing about it.

Oh an to answer the question about squirter's, 19lb will do you fine for right now with the fuel pressure upped alittle, a buddy of mine had the exact same combo an made 315rwhp the air fuel ratio was about right all through the board, a tad lean at 6500rpm if i remember right. 24lbers would be better cause then they will be more adjustable, but it's up to you alot of ppl. say you can run 19lb injectors up to 330 or 340 hp some say you can't. Do a search either here or on the corral you'll see, there's alot of 347 motors running 24lber's an they make a tad more power then you are with your 302. Also you need a good fuel pump either way you go atleast a 190lph.

Also here's alittle webpage for injector sizing
