which wideband?

just wondering what everyone is using for a wideband and what all extra if anything did u have to purchase along with it? im gonna need one soon and i wanna make sure i get the most for my money.

I'm using the innovate motorsports standalone kit (LC-1/XD-16). This is a quality kit and includes everything you need to get started. The install took me about an 1.5 hrs and was relatively straightforward. The gauge looks sick and is programmable on your laptop with alerts and colors. All in all, this kit gets my vote

I have an innovate motorsports LC-1 but have been less than thrilled with it... When it works it's great, but I've gone through two sensors in 15k miles (one after just 1500 miles or so). It's an affordable unit, but there are other easier, less messy solutions available today. AEM makes a good stand alone wideband, PLX also makes a quality setup.

I used the Innovate LC-1 also, I liked it. The install was easy and there are several display options. When I had my car tuned, it was off by .5% from what the shops A/F read at the tailpipe but who can say which was right.

im really leaning towards the lc-1 as it seems the most cost effective way to datalog whats going on. what kinda display options have u seen for it. i only know of the o-meter from moates

I am getting the plx dm-5,it's $260 and comes with cable to datalog.I like price and heard good things about it

LC-1 here as well...I'm using their new G2 gauge...see pic below...
If you have a laptop, go with the LC-1...but if you only have a desktop PC, you might consider the LM-1.

is it fairly easy to read that guage while going down the road? i would think it would be hard to tell exactly what it is without staring at it a while. the last thing i want to have my eyes concentrated on when wot is a guage lol

thats why I went with the one I did,besides having a digital readout,it has the green/yellow/red l.e.d. lights you can see out of the corner of your eye(depending on mounting location of course)

i think i might just go with the lc-1 with no guage for now, and buy a gauge later. im kinda strapped for cash so i need to do it relatively cheap. as long as im n/a its not gonna hurt to bad to make small changes and then check my logs until i get it right. then once i have it dialed in perfectly n/a, im spray the wet shot and see what the logs show. my wet shot is jetted a little rich for safety anyway so i think i will be ok
