Whining/whistling noise after throttle body install..?

So last night me and a buddy strapped on a BBK 70mm throttle body and now when the motor gets up to operating temp, I get this high pitched whistling/whining noise from the throttle body. It goes away when I give it gas....the gasket looks fine, only mod I have is a BBK CAI. Any ideas?

As long as you've verified that there's no vacuum leaks, some aftermarket throttle bodies have a whistle to them. I don't recall if BBK is one of them.

BBK throttle bodies are famous for whistling. Get 5 cars with BBK TB's next to each other in a parking lot idling and you have an orchestra...

I am sure if you take off the iac and grind down the edges smooth the noise will go away .

BUT NOT GRIND THE GASKET EDGES

I had to do that to mine .

My Professional Products throttle body does the same thing. I thought that had a vacuum leak but the guy at my shop said that it was fine and thats a normal sound.

I have a 70mm Edelbrock on my 90 GT, and it whistles too. But only when your driving it and you're on the gas about 1/2 throttle.

A good blower completely drowns out the sound of any whistling from any throttle body.
