Whistling Throttle Bodies! Does anyone have a solution?

A while back I installed a Edelbrock Throttle Body, Edelbrock Elbow and a Edelbrock Performer Intake. Since this install I have that annoying whistle on light acceleration. Has anybody come up with a solution to get rid of this. If there is something I can do I would love to know. Otherwise I might block IAC passages, file things down, or do whatever I can until it goes away. Thanks.

If it in the TB and not something else like a Vac leak... than I have heard of numerous people smoothing out the IAC port on the bbk TBs and it was eliminated. I have not tried it yet, I have gotten used to the whistle and really dont notice it. Good luck.

I've heard of two fixes for this:

1. loosen the TPS sensor and slide it one way or the other then retighten (this has been reported as being a temp fix in some cases and permanent in others).

2. pregressively drill the hole in the throttle blade SLIGHTLY larger until whistle goes away

I had this and drove me NUTS. It was the accufab 80mm, with fox tb set up. I used bolts instead of studs and I guess it didn't seal quite right. When I went to the egr delete it sealed better and no more squeak and no more hesitation.
