i got mine off ebay, the whole thing lights up. similar to the Autometer Lunar series stuff, and the EL Glow from UPR. easy to install, hardest part was just finding a hot wire to tap into. i just tapped into a hot wire from the headlight harness, works great. if you turn the brightness all the way up, its blinding, i love it. got them for 35 bucks shipped off ebay.
