MMR built my shortblock. It's got about 9000 miles on it so far and trouble free.

Jim O'Neill @ Renegade Racing built mine in my TBird. 330+ RWHP N/A through a plastic PI intake, 4R70W auto and IRS is not to shabby.

I think MMR is the best place to go since they are the closest to me. Has anyone just bought a Forged shortblock and put their stock top end back on it....jw?

That does not look 30" long.

Mine is 30x12x3. You can see its taller and longer. Mine would cover the entire space in you bumper.

It's not going to be 13.0:1 compression, so it can be boosted just fine. There's a vid on YouTube of a 2.6 KB and a 324 VT motor.

You put too much effort into that, and I commend you for it. It encouraged me to go out and measure, and no surprise to you that I was shipped a 25x12x3 by Mike Turbo.

(Doesn't make much difference when I decided to go to 2.6KB, but still!)

Oh it just took 2-3 mins lol. 2.6 Kb kicks. I'm just going upgrade to a t trim good enough.

MMR built mine, shipped it to MS for me. And I put my heads and vt cams stage 2 back on it. And currently spraying the hell out of it. Well built and they were great to deal with.
