Nope I get 18 or 19 but cobras make more power so they can move them selves a bit easier. That and I see my fair share of stop and go, and I sometimes leave from a stop a bit hard (not pealing out just jack rabbit).

I think the other part of this: Who drives the most miles/year.

My first year I drove 8k, second year was 18k, last year was like 15k...

i put less than 10k miles a yr on my vehicles so im also taking that into consideration! Do you think a stock cobra would be able to handle that?

I have both. I got an 02 and a 95. I daily drive my 95 but for different reasons. My 02 has low miles, and where I live they are moving the town, so I basicly drive on a strip job. My 95 is beat up pretty good, so I just drive it. Its a car I don't have to worry about looks wise. My 95 just came off of a week of where I had to drive alot, and it handled it fine.

Now with that being said. If I had to make a choice between two cars to DD I would take a modular. Its a little better suited for traffic. Easier clutch, smoother power, will last forever if maintained, and its just newer.

302's are knows for lasting a retarded long time. There are plenty of members on here with 200K+ on their stangs. I have around 150K on mine, and it still runs strong. The key is to keep it up.

the young kid who had the stang before beat the piss out of it. so i ended up with the bill restoring the car. Only thing I have not touched is the block with 200k+ miles on it.. the car lasted to 150k on motor and blew a headgasket
