Who has a custom SCT chip?

I have seen a few people on here with SCT's in there rides. I was wondering how much power was picked up with the custom tune? Once my car has all the bugs worked out I'm planning on going down to see Pete at Performance Dyno. Just curious how much is usually left on the table prior to the chip tune. Even if you have a 4.6L or any other ride with a SCT what did you gain?

well worth the money, my car runs great with the SCT chip/tune

H/C/I/S-trim/snow kit
544rwhp
499rwtq

STOCK 93 lower end.

What kind of HP/TQ increase did you get? I would be happy with 10-20rwhp gains, you probably saw more being force induced.

You're definitely going to notice the best results on a forced induction setup, but with a good TUNER it is not uncommon to pick up ~30RWHP on an NA setup...depending on the parts, of course.

I have an SCT chip, but I'm blown too.

mine looked nothing like that. My first tune consisted of a "RED" superchips chip which ended up running like complete dog **** with a tune. My tuner ended up swapping it out with an Autologic chip and the car runs like stock, with the exception of a lot more power. I went from 375rwhp to 405rwhp with a custom tune.

For $400, I'd say do it. That's not bad at all for dyno time plus making sure your car run at its optimum.

I had planned on doing it last fall but money and a couple car issues were keeping me from it. Now the money thing is still here but I really need paint work before my cars body gets any worse. So it's a toss up....but with gas prices the dyno tune might win.

Thanks for all the replies guys......

how have you not blown your hypereutectic pistons yet?! I've heard that you shouldnt put any boost/nitrous on them pistons. sorry about the off topicness of my post
