Just wondering what you people have done to lighten your stang and who has the lightest one here. Also wonder who has the lightest stang without a hacked up interior. By the way, mine is down to 2760 without me in it.

I'm right around 2900lbs with my '90 coupe. I've got draglites and race buckets now so we'll see how much of a difference they make. I've removed pretty much everything I could. No air, ps, smog, backseat. I don't have any fiberglass parts or aftermarket k-member. I figure at best I'll be around 2750lbs with tubular k and fiberglass hood. That's assuming 50lbs on my draglites and seats.

25thmustang, how in the world did you pull a 13 second 1/4 mile with as you say, all stock except just a cobra intake and 3.73 gears? Or is there something i'm missing?

Sorry to doubt you, but by all means what did/were you doing to pull that?
