I just found a brand new kit and ordered it up. I have SFCs, but I also have a guy that car bend pipe like nobodys business. I don't have full length SFCs, so maybe I will get lucky. I doubt it though. \

Anyhow, the question here is, does anyone have some underbody pics so I can see where the exhaust runs in relation to where the tips come out of the skirts.

I know someone is gonna ask $599.99 shipped for the Ford Racing Kit.

If it shows up soon and is the right kit, I will post its purchase location. I spent 30 minutes on the phone making sure it was the MJ kit, so it better be right.

Thanks in advance, Shane

Thanks. Ironically, I saved that pic from a thread way back. Unfortunatly it doesn't show what I need. I may just have to make something happen. I don't want to loose my sfcs. Dr Gas has some frame clearance tubes I may go with if I need too. I was hoping since I didn't have full length, I migh get away with it, but it doesn't look like it.

Thanks for the pic though. Did you ever find the tips you were lookin for. I think it was you who was lookin for tips.

About the tips, I don't really remember, that was probably when I wanted to do a custom side exit setup...those plans have since been scrapped. I am just gonna keep the borla for a while.

On a side note, if you have any clearance issues with the SFC's, I know SpinTech makes a set of SFC's that are made to clear side exhaust, might wanna check those out.

I am looking into the spintech SFCs now. I am hoping I can keep mine due to the fact they are great, and welded on. Looks like a lot of dremel and grinding time to get them off without a lot of damage.

I will let everyone know what I come up with when I finish everything.

Any more pics or info is great. Thanks again...

Yea if your SFC's work out with the pipes, let me know, cuz I have wanted to get some SFC's for a while, but didnt think any of them would fit except the SpinTech ones (and I would assume those are more expensive).

Dan, what did you spray the underside of the car with? Looks cool and I'm pretty sure it avoids rust.

I will tell you what. I e-mailed spintech for the info on the SFCs, and theirs seem to be monsters. They are very stout looking parts. I may get them just because they are so beefy. Not to mention, I have no doubt that their design will allow the side exhaust to work with minimal issues.

As for price, they are $169. Not too bad IMO.

I had some rust going on, so I used a wire wheel on a grinder to remove all the rust (most miserable thing I've ever done under a car BTW), then prepped it and shot on an epoxy primer that my dad has (highly corrosion resistant). Then I topped it all off with paint I got from Advance auto (in spray cans), it was called Rust Tough enamel. I can't remember the brand that makes the paint, but it says "RUST TOUGH" really large on the can. Turned out great and a year later I don't have any rust showing up yet.

Damn Dan, that sounds like a lot of work. What did you have to remove? Sorry about the hijack. But I too love the SVOs, they look awesome.

Dan the picture isn't showing up for me...did you move it? I went into the directory it's linked from and it doesn't exist there.

I'm interested in your rust proofing too...I have a bit, but it's mostly around the gas tank. did you drop yours? I fear I might have to because I have a bit of trust entering the trunk area

SVOs are sexy.
