You cant really see where my neighborhood is in the pic, it's between one of the hills and the shore of lake washington. It's still better to live in the eastside despite traffic. we've got busses that do allright, working on a light rail system, etc. If you're in the tech field, you're actually gonna be working in north bellevue or redmond, silicon forest they call it.

besides the traffic, the area is great. I just generally stay away from downtown seattle as much as possible. I'm in federal way, about 20 minutes from seattle in decent traffic. nice mid-point between seattle and tacoma, but the traffic gets pretty bad here as well, on SR-167 and on I-5, you have to get the timing right

99GTtony where were you from?

I'm from NC, but transplanted here 2 1/2 years ago. I live near greenlake, and the woodland park zoo. I work in the city, so if you have any specific areas you want to know about let me know.

This is a pic from the fall of '06. Have since got some Visus Aluminum Louvers on the back and painted the spoiler satin black. Next mods are the short throw and the CIA...then, ahem...the FRPP drag pack...will take some new pics in the spring

I'm trying to also get some AutoCross Solo setup at Marymoor Park in Redmond. They got they big ol' pavement lot where Circ Du Soliel sets up and dont' use it any other time (except for housing the utility trucks whenever a Mach 7 storm comes through! Ooof!)

BTW, I live in Sammamish...tame town, but I shake it up...

Adapting to the rain took a few months. I moved her eduring the rainy season. But once I experienced my first summer, I was hooked on staying here.

I'll have to see what I can find. I'll take my camera to work with me today since it's gonna be raining, and hopefully slow.

Bellevue is nice. Don't know about the schools. Where you are going to work is going to be dependant on where you live. Traffic absolutely sucks. I leave at 8:45am, drive 10 miles one way, and it takes almost 45 minutes, on a good day. But when I come home at night I get to have fun, as those same roads are lightly traveled at night.

lets see, Eastgate area is sort of run down, for bellevue, newcastle is pretty nice (apartment-wise). Overlake/crossroads is probably the worst (that's like between SR-520 and N.E. 8th street, along 140th, 148th, and 156, but 156th gets sort of suburban though.

I got some rain pics from a car show, I gotta run to school so I'll brb.

Generally, when it's nice in this area, it's REALLY nice, and when it's crappy, it's REALLY crappy. The rest of the time it's just BLAH.... That pretty much sums it up really....

Well, since you're asking for pictures and photography is my "thing", I thought I'd post up a few of mine.

And yes, it does rain here.

My wife's car, by the way.
