Who here is in the Seattle area?

Holy ****!! So in other words I better live within 5 miles of my job! What part do you live in? (In the pic) Dam, thats blows about the traffic out there.

You cant really see where my neighborhood is in the pic, it's between one of the hills and the shore of lake washington. It's still better to live in the eastside despite traffic. we've got busses that do allright, working on a light rail system, etc. If you're in the tech field, you're actually gonna be working in north bellevue or redmond, silicon forest they call it.

besides the traffic, the area is great. I just generally stay away from downtown seattle as much as possible. I'm in federal way, about 20 minutes from seattle in decent traffic. nice mid-point between seattle and tacoma, but the traffic gets pretty bad here as well, on SR-167 and on I-5, you have to get the timing right :)

This is a pic from the fall of '06. Have since got some Visus Aluminum Louvers on the back and painted the spoiler satin black. Next mods are the short throw and the CIA...then, ahem...the FRPP drag pack...will take some new pics in the spring

I'm trying to also get some AutoCross Solo setup at Marymoor Park in Redmond. They got they big ol' pavement lot where Circ Du Soliel sets up and dont' use it any other time (except for housing the utility trucks whenever a Mach 7 storm comes through! Ooof!)

BTW, I live in Sammamish...tame town, but I shake it up...:)

I'm from NC, but transplanted here 2 1/2 years ago. I live near greenlake, and the woodland park zoo. I work in the city, so if you have any specific areas you want to know about let me know.

Gotta love the Orange stang.
Ive been to LA ans SFO so I know how the traffic is there! Theres no rush hour there, its always jammed packed!:nonono:
99GTtony how was adapting to all the rain? Hey guys feel free to throw some pics up of your area! Thanks for all the reply's!:nice:

Bellevue is nice. Don't know about the schools. Where you are going to work is going to be dependant on where you live. Traffic absolutely sucks. I leave at 8:45am, drive 10 miles one way, and it takes almost 45 minutes, on a good day. But when I come home at night I get to have fun, as those same roads are lightly traveled at night.

lets see, Eastgate area is sort of run down, for bellevue, newcastle is pretty nice (apartment-wise). Overlake/crossroads is probably the worst (that's like between SR-520 and N.E. 8th street, along 140th, 148th, and 156, but 156th gets sort of suburban though.

I got some rain pics from a car show, I gotta run to school so I'll brb.

btw, tony, those are some nice pics, every time I wanna get out of here, summer comes by and I tell myslef another winter 'aint so bad :nice:

anyways, here's some pics from some shows, btw, we have a yearly show here at BCC, steve salleen shows up, etc. He's hard to get ahold of unless you look as rich and cheesy as the meguairs car care guy. anyways, onward.
