Who in here has put a radio in their glove box?

I know I've seen at least 1 picture of somebody that put a stereo face in their glove box. I was wondering how exactly to go about doing this. i've come up with an idea of putting it in there and how i'm gonna do it but I dont know how i would mount the stereo in there. Any body have any info on how i would go about doing this?

are you wanting to install the stereo in the glovebox or a remote face install? installing the stereo in the glovebox is pretty simple a remote face however can take some time a whole lotta patience, solder, and belden 4 conductor wire.

I got a new cardboard insert, put a small steel plate on the top and drilled 4 holes that heavy zip ties go thru and hold up the stereo chassis (radio slides into the chassis for mounting), forget if I used spacers to drop it down a bit. Ran the plug thru the top of the back cardboard panel so small stuff wouldnt roll out on to the floor.

sorry no photos today, my camera is at work
I removed the cardboard box entirely, mounted a peice of wood to two "L" bracets and cut a square hole in the wood, installed the tuner installation box into the wood and painted everything up to look pretty,
my satelite radio is in the forward storage bin of the factory console, and the original functional am radio is still in its hole.

all would be hidden if it weren't for the twin subs in a box in the back....hmmmm
