Anyway, a few things you should be aware of if you use them on your engine (or any other high strength application). Most of the S/S bolts you will find for sale retail are not very strong. They are typically about a Grade 3 if you are lucky. Most automotive grade fasteners are at least grade 5, most are grade 8. Always use anti-sieze designed for nickel based metals. The S/S threads will gall very easily. Don't use them where failure is going to be a tragedy, because they will frequently stretch and/or break. Valve cover bolts is about all I use S/S for on the engine.
