I think you should just crank your own stereo and ignore him. As I alluded to above, its really a no win situation racing ricers, its dangerous and gives our hobby a bad name like theirs, and you will find yourself without a driver's license if you're not careful messing with some punk in a Civic, or worse yet, someone will get hurt and/or killed. With that being said, I did my share of street racing in high school and a little beyond, so I don't pretend to be all high and mighty from a moral standpoint, but IMO, the laws are just too tough today to be worth the risk, if it ever was.
Finally, I personally believe there's something to be said for just laughing at the idiots driving the somewhat fast and infuriating cars trying to goad you into a race without giving them the satisfaction of seeing what they have against a true musclecar. That kills those guys because that's what they're really looking for to brag to their dweeb buddies. Little do they know, all the same performance enhancements work on a V8 that work on their lawnmower engines, and while their numbers are often impressive with 20 p.s.i. of boost, the same works on properly built V8's, with even better results. There is no replacement for displacement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
