who makes the best headers?

For our cars, BBK and MAC are the only company that make a cheap long tube header. Unless you want to pay out the rear for a set of Kooks, I would go with MAC. I haven't had any experience with their long tubes, but I know that their equal length and unequal length headers fit much better than BBK. I've also heard bad things about BBK's H-pipes too.

My MAC system fit together perfect. I just started it up today and looked under the car....zero leaks. The headers I bought header studs for and retightened them the day after installation and haven't touched them since.

I would say go to with the Mac's, but pay the extra $$ for the ceramic coating. I think thats kind of a fool proof way of avoiding some lesser quality materials. I've wanted a set of longtubes for a while, but I'm not real wild about Mac or BBK products. I really wish Bassani made longtubes that fit our cars.....

As the sig shows I'm running the Mac stuff. Everything fit ok and I've had no probs.

I was leary about Mac due to many posts bashing their stuff but at the time I put my combo together BBK did not provide the egr bung. Again, no probs.

I have seen posts that say one brand of lt's and a different brand of mid pipe will give fitment issues so you might want to do a bit of research and be sure.
