Who makes the best pulley kit for my car?

95' Vert. I'm changing the waterpump next week and figure it would be a good time to change the pulleys. Looking at Summit, Trickflow, and BBK. Or others if they're better.

I got the ASP aluminum pulleys...pulleys are hard to mess up and ive never heard complaints of any pulleys besides charging issues which can happen with any pulleys...so just get whatever I think

I agree about ebay.


dont get steeda because they charge alot and they're the asp pulleys.

also look in the classifieds on here and on corral. you might get them for 25$

asp is a good brand... but look for a name you know like the one you listed and get the cheapest ones your really paying for the name...i wont buy anything from steeda unless they are the only place that has something there prices just seem so high

I've got ASP's and they work great, I am also running an ASP overdrive alternator pulley and it keeps the voltage right where it was when it was stock. You will notice a difference from the pullies so they are decent upgrade. On a side note I bought a brand new Ford waterpump from Jegs for 50 bucks plus shipping and had it delivered in 2 days, it came in a Ford racing box and works fine.

did you have to pay for the asp overdrive pulley?? if so why didn't you put the stock pulley back on if the kit was giving you charging issues??

I was running the stock pulley when I was having the charging issues, it didn't rear its ugly head until night time when the lights and stereo were on, my car was running a little strange like it was breaking up so I bought the alternator pulley for 20 bucks and all my problems went away. The pulley is tiny in comparison to the stock and underdrive pulley, it measures out at 1 7/8" and required me to turn down .060" off the outside diameter of a 1" socket on a lathe at work to install the alternator pulley. I used my impact to tighten it down.

i see ...you could have also bumped the idle up a hair and that would have corrected the problem too

there stuff is real nice but you pay for what you are getting, good quality made in America stuff. sorry i was feeling patriotic
